Spend your summer enjoying the marvels of the marsh!

Camp Chris Stone Summer 2024

We are excited to announce the dates of Camp Chris Stone for this summer. This summer, Mother Nature is not being as cooperative as she has been in years past and the tide times have been a bit of a challenge. Due to the stubbornness of Mother Nature, we will only be able to have camp for five weeks this summer.  Because we will only be able to offer five weeks of Camp Chris Stone this summer, it is important for you to be ready and prepared on Registration Day!

A Few Important Notes about Camp Chris Stone for Summer 2024:

  • Please remember that the ages for camp are from age 6 to age 10. Eligible campers need to be age 6 before September 1, 2024 and not have reached their 11th birthday before September 1, 2024.

  • Registration is scheduled for Friday, March 1, 2024, beginning at 9:00AM. If this year is like the past years, it will fill up fast, so don’t delay in deciding which session you would like your child or children to attend and make plans to get them registered as quickly as possible.

  • Registration will take place online again this year via the Camp Chris Stone website.  There will be a special tab for “Registration” that will go live on our website at 9:00 on Friday, March 1. In order to register your child, you will need to complete a basic Google Form.

    • BE READY!

  • The cost for camp this year has increased. As much as we have tried to keep the costs down and affordable, with rising costs, we have to be able to cover all our expenses. This year the registration fee will be $225.00 with a flat fee of $5.00 to help cover part of the cost of credit card processing fees.

In Loving Memory

Camp Chris Stone is dedicated to the memory and ideals of long - time Wrightsville Beach resident, Chris Stone, who spent countless hours as a child and as an adult enjoying the marvels of the marshes.

The Camp Chris Stone family is so thankful for the organizations in our community that support our mission to educate children on the beauty and purpose of the Wrightsville Beach marshes!
